VDST (Assossiation of German Sport Divers)

In 1999 Mad Shark Diving passed the high VDST standards in quality and safety to be recognised as VDST dive center.

At same time the VDST-North held the first instructor I and instructor II exames withs us. Under Theo Konken all 60 participants passed. Another successfull VDST-instructor exam was held in August 2000. Many VDST instructor examinations have been held at Mad Shark Diving since.

Barakuda

By the end of 2000 we are proud to become also a Barracuda dive center. Barracuda is also asking vor very high quality and safety standards.

Barracuda is a member of the european RSTC (Recreational Scuba Training Council). This fact gives us the possibilety to recognise brevets from the following members: PADI, SSI SNSI, NASDS, IDD, ACUC. More infos you find at www.rstc-eu.com.

With parting on the instructor trainer cours in December 2000 Mad Shark Diving mangaged to be the first Barracuda instructor training center in a foreign country.

RAB (Rebreather Advisory Board)

Rebreather diving is getting more and more popular. Not only being able to achieve dive times with very little gas which would need up to four tank changes with normal suba, also the loss of liquid and body heat due to cald and try aer is not an issue any more. A verv big bonus is the silence with this kind of diving. Fish which normaly back of just keep on staying right in front of your mask...
